Video 1. Intercondylar arthroscopic view of a left knee. A thick layer of synovial tissue is covering the aMFL and PCL. After removal of the synovial tissue, the aMFL appears as a different structure anterior to the PCL. By use of a probe, traction is being applied to the aMFL, and as a result, the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus moves. A torn ACL allows us to follow the aMFL from the lateral meniscus (LM) to the medial condyle. After ACL reconstruction, the origin of the aMFL is hidden behind the graft. (LC, lateral condyle.)
