I am pleased to inform our readers that Dr. Vic Goradia has been named an Associate Editor of Arthroscopy as of January 1, 2010. Vic earned his undergraduate degree with honors in biomedical engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his M.D. degree with distinction. Vic completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Virginia, his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma, and his fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

Since then, Vic's professional career in private practice has centered around Virginia's capital city, Richmond. He served as attending physician for a sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia from 2001 to 2004. Since 2004, Vic has been the president of Go Orthopedics in Richmond. In addition, he has served as team physician for numerous colleges and high schools. Well known in academic circles, Vic is active in AOSSM and AANA, having served on and chaired several AANA committees since 2003. Most recently, he has been chairman of the Technology Committee, co-chair of the Arthroscopic Simulation Task Force, and a member of the Education Overview Committee. Currently, Vic is a member of the AANA Education Committee.

Vic has been a peer reviewer for Arthroscopy since 1999 and a member of our Editorial Board since 2006. I am thrilled to welcome him now to our editorial team.
