The whole procedure was carried on with 90° of knee flexion. The arthroscope was introduced from the posteromedial portal and passed through the trans-septal portal to reach the posterolateral compartment for a better view. The posterolateral capsule of the knee joint was separated from the synovial edge of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus. Then, the avulsed osseous fragment of the styloid process of the fibular head was located. With the help of a suture hook to pass the thread, the avulsed fragment was reduced and fixed with a suture anchor. When the knot was pushing into the articular segment, the bone fragment was slowly reduced to the avulsed fracture site. |
