Conservative care for the treatment of chronic tendinosis is well known to the reader.
It consists of rest, ice, compression, and elevation in the acute phase. This is followed
with physical therapy, activity modification, bracing, cortisone injections, topical
applications, as well as oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Other
homeopathic approaches have been used that consist of procedures such as acupuncture
and items such as magnets.
