Timothy Joseph Jackson, M.D., Associate Editor

      Please join me in welcoming Timothy Joseph Jackson, M.D., as a new Associate Editor of Arthroscopy. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science summa cum laude at Texas A&M University, and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.
      His internship in surgery and his residency in orthopaedic surgery took place at the University of Southern California. Tim then did a fellowship in sports medicine at Congress Orthopedics in Pasadena and a fellowship in Hip Preservation at the American Hip Institute in Chicago.
      Author of numerous research studies, he has regularly presented findings at meetings since 2013. Tim has been a reviewer for Arthroscopy since 2013 and was invited to join the Editorial Board in 2015. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Orthopedics. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.
      Tim has been team physician for many high school and college sports teams and currently he serves at Pasadena City College. Tim is in private practice in Pasadena. His hobbies include mountain biking and surfing, and spending time with his wife Maggie and newborn son Landon.
