Viewing is done through an anteromedial portal (AMP) using a 70-degree arthroscope after debridement using an arthroscopic shaver and radiofrequency electrode taking care not to damage the patellar tendon. Camera is directed inferiorly and lateral toward the intact patellar tendon (blue arrow). An anterolateral working portal (ALP) is used to excise the ossicle (red arrow) with an arthroscopic burr (orange arrow) after skeletonization of the ossicle.
